Trade Lines Shoppers Guide has been sold by Dickson Media, Inc. of Charlottesville, Virginia to American Publishing Company, according to John T. Cribb, Bolitho-Cribb & Associates, who represented the seller in the transaction.
Trade Lines is one of the oldest and strongest regional shopper companies in the Midwest and has been in operation for nearly fifty years. The market area served by Trade Lines covers the southwestern corner of Michigan with 49,200 copies in two zones distributed weekly by an in-house delivery system. The paper was founded by Mrs. Reva Murphy and has been managed by Mrs. Murphy’s granddaughter, Leeane Borkowski, for a number of years. Mrs. Borkowski is a past president of the Association of Free Community Papers.
Bolitho-Cribb & Associates is a publishing company brokerage firm located in Bozeman, Montana.
