The Duane Steele family has sold the Advocate newspaper, Provincetown, Massachusetts to Provincetown Ventures, LLC, according to Gerald D. Reilly, Newspaper Broker, and John Cribb, Bolitho-Cribb & Assocaites, who represented the Steele family in the transaction.
The Advocate is a 130-year-old paid circulation weekly newspaper, published on Thursday in a tab format. It serves the prestigious Provincetown market located on the tip of Cape Cod.
Bolitho-Cribb & Associates is a publishing company brokerage firm with offices in Montana, Florida, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
