The Spectator Magazine in Raleigh, North Carolina has been sold to Eason Publications, publisher of Creative Loafing, according to John T. Cribb, Bolitho-Cribb & Associates, who assisted with the sale on behalf of Spectator Publications.

Mr. Bernie Reeves, the founder of Spectator Magazine, is editor and publisher and will retain a minority interest in the publication. The 19-year-old Spectator has a circulation of 50,000.

Eason Publications now owns seven publications including Creative Loafing in Atlanta, Georgia, Savannah, Georgia, Charlotte, North Carolina, Greenville, South Carolina, and the Gwinnett Loaf and Topside Loaf in the metro Atlanta area.

Bolitho-Cribb & Associates is a publishing company brokerage firm located in Bozeman, Montana.
