Troy, KS

Mr. and Mrs. Steven Tetlow have sold the assets of the Kansas Chief, Troy Kansas, to Ethel Mae Foley of Wathena, Kansas, according to Jim Hicks of Bolitho-Cribb & Associates, who represented the sellers in the transaction.

The Kansas Chief is the oldest, continuously published newspaper in the state of Kansas, and has 1,815 paid weekly circulation. The Tetlows will continue to own and publish the 35,000 circulation shopper, Green Acres. The Foley family, who purchased the Chief, also operate the Wathena Times in Wathena, Kansas.
