The West Yellowstone News has been sold by Mr. and Mrs. Gary Stevenson and Mr. Angus Thuermer Jr. to Big Sky Publishing, LLC, according to John Cribb and Jim Hicks of Bolitho-Cribb & Associates who represented the sellers in the transaction. Big Sky Publishing, LLC is a subsidiary of the Pioneer Newspaper Group which also publishes the Bozeman Daily Chronicle and Big Sky’s Lone Peak Lookout in southwestern Montana. The Stevensons continue to own and operate the Saratoga (WY) Sun and are partners in the County Bounty in Sheridan, Wyoming. Mr. Thuermer is the editor of the Jackson Hole (WY) News.
The West Yellowstone News is a 1,900 paid circulation weekly newspaper serving West Yellowstone and the west entrance to Yellowstone Park.
